A sneak peak

A wee taster of what's in store for Autumn
It may still be August, but 'the night's are fair drawing in', as any Scottish Granny worth her salt would say. I picked up my traditional first leaf of Autumn on Saturday, the earliest I've ever encountered one. (Now carefully pressed in my giant dictionary, under 'L' for leaf of course!) It was a beautiful rich red with green veins and a hint of that burnt orange that signifies Autumn means business.
Indeed, we have been turning our design work that-a-way for a week or so now, leaving behind the pastel pinks, bleached branches and seashells of Summer in favour of shady woodland themes, with mossy greens and turning leaf colours, contorted kiwi branches and the strong red-green hydrangea we love. Time for berries, black tie leaves, trailing amaranthus and mini malus apples.
Here is a sneak peak of our offering for Autumn, a design we've called Trail Blazing. The arrangement incorporates all the rich colours and textures of Autumn, with Chinese lanterns, green malus apples and viburnum berries, zinged up with lime moss and looped craspedia bobbles. We've added some rich Red Naomi roses for depth, and pincushion protea for added intrigue.

Trail Blazing will be available to order online from www.floralhaven.co.uk next week.
The twiggy base is so versatile, it can be used again and again, flat as a table centre, or hanging on the wall. Customers who have bought this base often bring it back to be decorated for a festive look at Christmas, or with growing bulbs and eggs at Easter.
